As you may know the Mat Day Band is playing for us on 20th February. Mat is a fabulous blues guitarist, and we are pleased to offer a chance to learn from him in the second of our workshop series on the same day 11.30-1pm. It’s half term so we really hope both adults and young people can come along.
It will be at the Cave, 3 the Warehouse, the Old Quay, TQ14 8ES. Participants should bring their own guitars and preferably an amp. Although if you do not have the latter there is a limited number at the Cave. If you wish to use one of these or need further info then contact us.
Participants should be reasonably competent, know a good range of chords and be familiar with blues styles and progressions.
The workshop will depend on the range of abilities present which Mat will assess on the day. However, he hopes to explore ‘thinking out of the box’ and harmonics.
Prices range from £5 to £15 depending what you can afford.
