DUSKI is four exceptional young players from the burgeoning Welsh jazz scene. This is the only chance to catch them in Devon on their UK tour. Their music is totally contemporary, with accomplished improvisation that only occurs with musicians who really know each other. Formed in 2016 the band immediately attracted favourable comment from numerous critics most of which highlighted the way in which ambience adds depth, darkness and subtlety to what are deceptively simple melodies. David Lynch’s Twin Peaks soundtrack has strong parallels to some of Duski’s music.

The line-up is led from behind by bassist Aidan Thorne , along with Mark O Connor on drums.  The front line is likewise equally talented with Dan Messore (an old friend of Teignmouth) on guitar  On tenor sax is the haunting lyricism of Greg Sterland, the epitome of jazz noir. Each in his own right is an exceptional solo player together they form the very best in indie jazz.
