The World Group defies categorisation. Virtuosi musicians with a solid jazz foundation join forces in this jazz/world music fusion concert that explores the sounds and influences of the Mediterranean :-Arabic, Turkish Spanish are just some of  the influences that will come together. The first of our Sunday matinees you will enjoy a marine background to the Band . Close your eyes and the sound of waves outside could fool you you were by the Med.

Nicolas Meier is a world class guitarist who has featured at our Festivals in the past to huge acclaim. Up  front with him is violinist extraordinaire Richard Jones whose playing at the recent Gabrielle Ducomble set the audience alight.  On six string bass is the seasoned Kevin Glasgow  while the fabulous Spanish Demi Garcia percussionist and drummer brings exotic and exciting grooves  to the event
