Sam Kennedy is one of the leading exponents of modern electric blues which encompasses the music of Jimi Hendrix and Stevie Ray Vaughan, to name but two well-known artists: as well as giving an original twist to many classics. Sam on guitar and vocals is backed by two superb artistes:- Bass .Ian Jennings who has backed Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck and Van Morrison and many other stars. Drums: Lucy Piper, with blues in her blood, continues to forge her career as a superb drummer in  her own gender free right  and not requiring the label ‘female drummer’.
Sam played for us in a sell-out open air gig at the Commercial Inn last year during lockdown to rapturous applause and a standing ovation for a stunning  performance of vocals and pulse raising riffs.  We are now delighted  to host his return for what will be  a stonking evening of superb electric Blues.
