Formed in the Summer of 2025, Xtra Tacos is a collaboration between three of the finest Blues and Roots musicians in the South West, UK, with Ritchie Lane on Guitar and Vocals, Ian Jennings on Bass, and Lucy Piper on Drums. What We Do

We are a small charity who bring great artists to Teignmouth.

We've spent 30 years creating musical events in the South West, originally dedicated primarily to jazz. We now include Blues artists and we’ve promoted other genres including Country, Folk, R & B and even Flamenco!

We’re a small group of enthusiasts who give freely of our time and are always happy to bring more help on board if you have time and enthusiasm to spare!

Where and When

The Corinthian Yacht Club kindly provides a wonderful venue in the heart of town, overlooking the sea.

Thursday is our regular night where we offer on average one Jazz and one Blues gig each month.

We can seat up to 80 in warm, intimate surroundings. Doors open at 6.30, while performances start at 7.30 and normally end by 10pm.

Always striving to improve, we've built up our resources and been able to put on a full programme of artists, both local and national.

Most recently we've established a partnership with The Pavillions which seats 200 and will allow us to attract even bigger names!
