Teignmouth Jazz and Blues are sorry to Cancel Joanna Cooke’s Event.  The cancellation is due to one of the Band having a family emergency and having to return to The USA.  Joanna is very sorry in having to cancel the event and would like to perform at Teignmouth Jazz and Blues Club at some future date. The Club is endeavouring to bring another artist to perform at the Club on the 19th of March.

Motown legend Martha Reeves summed it up perfectly, describing Joanna Cooke as “the baby girl singing the blues”.Joanna, much like her South West counterpart Joss Stone demonstrates that true soul and emotional connection is not simply constrained by colour or creed. Moreover, her self-penned songs leave a lasting impression on audiences, by dint of their raw honesty and song craft.

After supporting Matt Johnson (Jamiroquai) at his sold out show at Jazz Cafe London & playing her debut at Cheltenham Jazz Festival, Joanna’s excited to bring a wonderfully talented set of musicians together to perform her songs at Teignmouth Jazz & Blues Club for the very first time.
