No, not that Mick Taylor! This is Mick from That Pedal Show and former editor-in-chief of Guitarist magazine.
Blues Implosion is Mick’s new side project, so to speak, bringing together traditional rhythm & blues with soul and funkier grooves from a diverse range of influences, artists and sounds.
As you might expect, he’s a guitar tone obsessive so all the six-string fans out there are in for a treat. Mick is also an accomplished and compelling vocalist, leading Garry Kroll on drums, Paddy Blight on bass/vocals and Jake Loosemoore on guitar/vocals for a night of fun and celebration of the music they love the most. It promises to be an electric evening!
