This one-off concert is one that cuts across all genres of music, from Jazz to classical and is one not to miss for any music lover. St Peters Church has been chosen for this event its ambience and acoustics especially lend themselves to brass and woodwind. 

Superlocrian is an exciting and accomplished UK wind ensemble. Made up of six outstanding musicians and led by renowned British composer Sam Massey,

Blending the sounds of brass and woodwind in both jazz and classical works, Superlocrian’s sound is playful, fresh, and sophisticated.

The band was featured on BBC Radio 3’s prestigious In Tune programme and has been identified as one of the UK’s leading crossover chamber ensembles. Their style and flair engage a wide range of audiences and ages, from classical music connoisseurs to modern jazz enthusiasts. This concert is part of their Arts Council funded Hills and Valleys’ tour.
