Once again we celebrate the talent that is all around us in south Devon. Well just about as Sarah is a very welcome recent  ‘blow in’ from Brighton where she has had a long and very successful singing career. Their loss is our gain as she has been quickly wowing audiences in sell out gigs in the south west. Ronnie Jones is a long standing drummer who started his career with percussion when living in Brixton, his percussion background gives him a very recognisable and sensitive approach to his drumming. We welcome him at long last to the club. The trio is in very safe hands with veteran bass Marcus Vergette and Will Butterworth on piano; no strangers to Teignmouth.

Sarah’s strong, ranged and empowering voice combines elements of Erykah Badu and Amy Winehouse, and feels most at home when performing soul, blues and jazz tracks, where she is influenced by artists such as Jill Scott, Stevie Wonder and Lauryn Hill. You can expect an evening of jazz with a good dash of blues and soul
